Today, the team of Department of Health came to our school to vaccinate all the school children against two diseases, Measles and Rubella.
The number of our school is 1400 students, out of which about one thousand students were vaccinated because the age of the remaining 400 students was more than 15 years and this vaccine was given only to the children from 9 months to 15 years.
Earlier, children above the age of 15 years were vaccinated to protect them from Corona virus, which proved to be very beneficial, now Corona virus is almost non-existent in our area and now by adopting such a precautionary approach health department has started another campaign to protect children from rubella and measles diseases.
Having arranged all the children in a good manner, sat down with the various members of team, where all the children were injected normally, and there was no issue in this regard.
Before applying the vaccine to the children, a seminar was organized in front of all the children in which they were told about symptoms, dangers and precautionary measures of these diseases, so that the children should go to their homes and tell about these diseases to their parents and relatives.
In this way, the health department team come to one place where mostly children are present in schools and they get a chance to vaccinate maximum children at one place and the diseases can be minimized.
To be a responsible city we must take care of the health of our children as they will surely become the custodians of a responsible family in the future.
