The river Sutlej is present at a distance of about 20 km from the place where I live, where today I went to visit and enjoy. You are seeing in these pictures the water of the river, which is present in a lot of water, but nowadays the water is stopped because there is not so much demand for water, due to which the big canals have been given water where it is needed.
Where I'm standing and I'm making these pictures This is the inside of the river and I am standing on sand of the river that is not secure to life as sand can be slipped into the water.
The water of the river is making its own waves and both power and noise are present in the water of the river because the flow of water is very fast. From where I am standing, From there, the banks of the river are tall, according to my opinion, it is present at a height of 30 feet, now even the river has been dammed and the flow of water is very slow.
In these pictures and the bridge built over the river is centuries old, about 2 years ago, Chinese engineers repaired it again and now it is present in its full glory. This bridge is of the time when the British ruled over the subcontinent and it was built over the river so that the common transport could easily continue because after this river there is a border of India and Pakistan.
The length of the bridge is about 1000 feet, which is very high and the width is about 15 feet, so that 2 vehicles can easily cross each other. This bridge is very strong and full iron has been used in it to maintain its strength and along with this, a culvert has been fitted on it to control the water, when it is needed, the water can be stopped from here.
There are many fishes in this river and people catch fresh fish by putting a net here to enjoy and there are many fish frying shops from where we eat fish and enjoy.
